Get to Know Our Principal
Before starting L&F Tax & Bookkeeping Services in 2000, our principal worked professionally for 7 years at a top 5 accounting firm preparing individual and business income tax returns. She has more than 30 years of tax and accounting experience on Maui, specializing in corporate, partnership, nonprofit, condo association, and individual taxes.
Serving as treasurer on the board of a 501(c)3, she provided professional pro bono accounting and tax work for the community-based organization for over 10 years.
She taught both basic and advanced income tax preparation courses for 5 years and was known for making what students assumed would be dry tax classes fun and applicable to real life.
She always welcomes opportunities to speak with groups as she both enjoys teaching students and helping clients.
Outside of work, her interests include the natural environment, singing, gardening, board games, sign language, and fitness & nutrition. She can often be found tending her garden where she grows her own organic fruits and vegetables.
